“Delicate Beauty”Jenny Packham is a red carpet staple and it’s no wonder. This dress from her 2013 collection hits the mark in all the right ways. Flattering, timeless and elegant best describes this look.
“One Step Ahead”
It’s still early days of the 2013 bridal season, but if you’re one of those brides planning well ahead for your 2014 wedding you’re in luck. Bridal Fashion Week just ended in New York. This dress by Monique Lhuillier was one of many eyecatching gowns offered up by the designer. It’s beautiful in is simplicity. Walking down that aisle, you’ll just float.
“Easy Breezy”
What can one say about Marchesa? They are a true red carpet staple. Designers Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig know what a woman wants and how to make them look great. Alot of their designs can transition to wedding dresses. I think this short vintange look from their 2012 collection is perfect for any time of the year.
“Like No Other”
British designer Jess Eaton is like no other. She “ethically sources” her material from animal that passed away naturally. The feather headpiece shown here is from her bridal collection. Amazing isn’t it? Creative and very green.
“For the Love of Flowers”
One of my favourite couture collections from Chanel was the one inspired completely of paper pieces. The Spring 2009 collection that Karl Lagerfeld put down the runway was completely stunning - from head to toe. It’s about making the simple beautiful. The paper floral headpieces were the creations of Kamo Katsuya.
“Go Big or Go Home”
Leading fashion design Oscar de la Renta showed this gown for his Spring 2013 bridal runway. Talk about making a statement as you walk and strut down that aisle.
